The Bundesliga is the highest caste of football competition in Germany. Of course, many of the best teams are competing to prove the quality of each club. The German Bundesliga last weekend became the first top-flight football league to resume following the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic.
Previously, their fate was practically the same as other league competitions which also experienced a halt due to the corona outbreak. It’s been almost two months now, they have found a bright spot.
Last week, Germany’s chancellor, Angela Merkel, announced that the 2019-20 Bundesliga season would restart on May 16 with no spectators in stadiums.
Well, to enliven the return of the Panzer Country football competition, here we present the four best teams in the history of the German Bundesliga, reported by the Sportskeeda page.

1. Bayern Munich
In the 2012-2013 season, Bayern Munich set a new Bundesliga record by pocketing 91 points in one season. Back then the previous reigning champions, Borussia Dortmund, finished the season 25 points behind them.
Jupp Heynckes’ men lifted the title in their 28th game which was the earliest win by a Bundesliga side. Despite their winning streak, Bayern Munich’s 29 wins in the 2012-13 season have created the club’s history of the most wins in Germany’s top competition.
After winning eight Bundesliga matches in a row, Bayern Munich lost to Bayer Leverkusen. However, it was their only defeat of the season and became the first German club to win the treble.

3. Borussia Monchengladbach
Directed by Hennes Weisweiler, Borussia Monchengladbach in the 1974-1975 Bundesliga season was the best team in football.
Having Jupp Heynckes who is agile in attack, Christian Kulik and Dietmar Danner in midfield, and also the duo of Hans Jurgen Wittkamp and Berti Vogts in defense, makes Monchengladbach have good players in every position.
Heynckes ended the season with a phenomenal 27 goals, topping the Bundesliga’s top scorer rankings that season. His team-mate, Allan Simonsen, scored 18 goals and finished fifth on the list of top scorers in the 1974-1975 Bundesliga.
The team from Bokelbergstadion also ended the season with 50 points, with details of 21 wins, eight draws and five defeats with a difference of 6 points ahead of Hertha BSC who was in second place.
4. Vfb Stuttgart
The club, which was managed by Armin Veh, in the 44th Bundesliga title, the 2006-2007 season, won the title on the last day of the season.
There was stiff competition between Stuttgart and Schalke throughout the season, but a 2-0 win against Energie Cottbus ensured the Bundesliga title fell to the Mercedes Benz Arena.
Thomas Hitzlsperger and Sami Khedira star on the dramatic final day of the season. Roberto Hilbert and Pavel Pardo were also players who contributed to Vfb Stuttgart’s success in the Bundesliga at that time. The record of 14 goals from Mario Gomez was enough to make him the top scorer that season.
