Introducing the California Millennium 30th Anniversary

This year, Chopard is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the California Mille Tour, and to commemorate the occasion, the family-owned manufacturer has launched the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control California Mille 30th Anniversary Edition.

California Mille is a 1,000-mile, four-day excursion through the picturesque trails of Northern California and through charming small towns unaffected by any change.

The 43mm stainless steel silver dial is designed to echo vintage car bodies, while the chronometer subtly combines automotive design with mechanical watchmaking. The power reserve display at nine o'clock is designed to resemble a classic car fuel gauge, while the date window at three o'clock is framed by a miniature graphic of a "1000 Miria" directional arrow marking the 1000 Miria route.

This is the third year in a row that Chopard has been selected as the "Official Timekeeper" for the 30th annual California Miller, which this year runs from April 25 to April 29.

The new Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Automatic features the Chopard 01.08-C chronograph, COSC-certified with an automatic movement and a 60-hour power reserve. The movement features hours, minutes, seconds, date, power reserve indicator and chronograph.

The power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock is designed to resemble a classic car fuel gauge, while the date window at 3 o'clock is framed by a miniature graphic of the "1000 Miglia" directional arrow marking the 1000 Miglia route.
