There are somethings about pregnancy, an already beautiful emotion, which makes it more beautiful.
In fact, it’s not just beautiful, it’s fun!
Yes! It’s fun to guess whether you’ll give birth to a baby boy or girl.
And if by chance you have an elderly person in your family, they will see your signs and symptoms, and question you conventionally. They will even start predicting the gender of the baby, who’s on the way.
Following conventions is not wrong, but you also need to understand everything logically.
Read on to find out everything that is conventional as well as logical about pregnancy from here:
The elders in your family might look at the shape, and if they see you’re carrying low, much before you go into labour, they’d be able to tell you that you are about to give birth to a baby boy.
But the Fact is: Sometimes, during pregnancy, when the uterus grows upwards, your abs might stretch and split open. The abdomen looks like a sag. And that might appear as if you’re carrying low. So, carrying low does not necessarily mean that you’ll be giving birth to a baby boy.
That means, conventionally, if you’re gaining additional fat in your hips, waist and places around the belly, you are expected to give birth to a baby girl.
But the Fact is: Basically, your body weight, during pregnancy, along with shape of your body, will play a very big role in how you’re carrying your baby. The gender of your baby-to-be can’t be evaluated looking at your weight.
As convention goes, if your partner’s gaining weight along with you, during your pregnancy, something known as sympathy weight gain, that could be a sign that you’re carrying a baby girl in your womb.
But the Fact is: However, the truth, your partner weight has got no relation to your baby-to-be’s gender determination. Sometimes, during men have increased appetite. In fact, eating large portions of food make them gain a lot of weight.
Have you been getting immense compliments for your glowing skin, during your pregnancy? And has the conventional stories already erring on the side of a baby boy?
But the Fact is: Fluctuations in the pregnancy hormones and increase in blood volume is responsible for that pregnancy glow. And that has got nothing to do with your giving birth to your baby boy.
You might be experiencing morning sickness, during the early days of your pregnancy. But as the old wives’ tales, with a well-managed queasiness, there is a possibility of your giving birth to a boy.
But the Fact is: 80% would-be-moms have to face morning sickness, during the early stage of pregnancy. And that is mostly due to increased hormone and reduced blood sugar levels.
It’s funny but according to the traditional believes, if passing bright yellow colour urine, you’re expected to carry a girl. Alternately, a dull colour urine would mean a boy.
But the Fact is: Urine colour, during pregnancy, may vary due to fluid and diet intake, infection present (if any) as well as vitamin usage.
Besides this, the cold feeling at your feet, might well tell you the gender of your baby, as per conventions. But, instead of taking a guess, its better that you follow a few scientific methods like NIPT Screening, NT Scan and mid-pregnancy ultrasound, will help with information.
Having said that, you should just be happy about this experience of becoming a mother. Although, we know that waiting is quite long, but isn’t this wait worth?
So, enjoy the journey!
