The beauty trend is a fast-changing industry. Millennials will try anything to get more followers or views on their social media accounts. But hey, what does mom think of this? Like everything else in life,online beauty products have some good and some elements that make you go WTF. They all come packaged to aim for flawless skin and zero wrinkles, but to achieve that, one must indulge in some strange techniques. 

Brace yourself for some of the absolute weirdest beauty products online that will leave you, and your mom baffled and shocked.

Facial threader- I am in pain just typing this sentence out. I am not sure why people would put themselves through this? This beauty product uses two metal spokes to thread tiny hair off your face. A mini torture device, if you may classify it. 

Vacuum for cleaning pores- This could sound like a dream, but the strong vacuum leaves your face bright red and even bruised, according to some users. Yikes!

Rubber lips- This one is undoubtedly to take the cake. If you ever want your face to look slimmer, use these giant rubber lips for three minutes every day and make ridiculous mouth movements. Umm, Pass!

Wrinkle Iron- As the name suggests, you genuinely iron your face. The claim is that it lifts your face and helps smoothen out the wrinkles and creases like a real-life iron on a shirt. This online beauty product uses heat to banish fine wrinkles. It is more horrific than what we are making it sound. 

Cream cheese for your face- This online beauty product by the Koreans swears by using cream cheese as it has proteins for firmness and helps tighten your pores. Just be sure not to use it on your toast by accident. 

Cheek mask for face slimming- This face mask is worn for 30 to 50 minutes daily for a nice contour for your face. One can channel Hannibal Lecter and check up on your neighbours and be ostracized. Who’s judging? 

Hands-free hairdryer–All I could ask is what could go wrong?

Snail slime mask- One could get why you might not be a fan of this mask. Although it is said to revitalize and rejuvenate your skin, it’s hard to ignore the mask’s ingredients. *shudders*
