Today we have distinctive images of the JioLink CPE system which will be available in a few cities where Jio 4G service is available. As you can see, the Jio branding is apparent on the front and the unique microSIM card provisioned for JioLink needs to be JioFi Firmware Upgrade used on that device.

The JioLink is basically an outdoor 4G LTE device and is water-resistant and helps increase coverage in packed places and will largely work with the 2300Mhz 4G group or Band 40 that will be known to provide quicker rates on Jio.

This device could be attached to a post with the clamp much like what some broadband providers like Tikona do currently or attached to a wall in a terrace with the aid of the wall install that will be likely to be furnished with the device.

The unit is powered by a Power-over-Ethernet PoE adapter that will be provided in the box. The output from the unit needs to connected to a WiFi router. It's perhaps not entirely distinct in case a WiFi hub will soon be provided in the box.

An instant check up on a import database shows that over 100,000 units of this device being imported in to India from Malaysia because a year ago at a price of Rs.4400 approximately per system that will be somewhat larger than the Rs.2500 cost which Jio is going to demand for consumers installing that device.

We have also learned that preference will soon be fond of personnel, distributors and dealers.
