The company has used projection optics inside the AR glasses. According to Young, the displays of the micro displays diagonally would be off 0.5 inches with a resolution of 1,280×960. The resolution appears consistent with ECX337A of Sony with 1,000 nits of brightness, which is the maximum. Also, it has a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and 0.01 ms or less response rate.

According to MacRumors, Sony’s OLED microdisplays come with a wide gamut of colors, incredibly high contrast ratios, low reflectance, and a high rate of luminance. Also, the response rate of the displays is ultra-fast. In simple terms, you can’t expect everything from a display based on OLED, but the display technology is best suited to OLED technology’s needs.
