A good indie 2D action rogue-like game. The graphic is nice, sound design is immersive and creepy, and gameplay is really fun and quite addictive. Only problem is keyboard support is not very good, you can not bind key on the numeric keypad.. Not that bad of a a game. There's fun things and many things that can be improved, like enemy AI. Some enemies can be avoided and fought fairly, while others are plain annoying (damn mini ninjas & slimes) The level generation isn't the best at times, and the grammar in some of the dialogue could use an upgrade. (like the trading card descriptions)

Also raids at the beginning of the game can get really annoying when you're trying to save up currency to build defenses, only to have most of it stolen the next night. (if you're lucky you can repell the attack or there will be none) Wouldn't say the price is quite worth it either, though I was able to get this from the recent jingle jam Humble Bundle.

overall a 5/10. Having a lot of fun with this one. Addictive, lots of weapons and gear, leveling system, fun and varying enemies, quests and allies to complete\/find, a base to build up and defend, procedurally generated map that changes if you die, lots of replayability, enjoyable story (love the diary pages), I could probably go on.
My only complaint centers on how you upgrade the base... I fel like it should be as days pass, not as time passes. 5.5 hours for me to upgrade the workbench.... I mean, come on.. Early game, you shoule care only nuts and upgrade your items (shoes for double jump,...). Late game, you up HP and that time, you can do all quests.. Very nice game , also addictived too :D
