Towada City in Japan is a prefecture within Aomori Prefecture. Towada's population is 60,697 with the density of 84 residents per square mile. The city has a total area of 725.65 square kilometers. The city is home to 27677 households. In addition to its huge population, Towada is also a major industrial hub.
The city was established on September 1, 1910 and was upgraded to the status of a city on February 1st 1955. In October 1956, it was 十和田 to Towada.
