The Division The Division 2 Boosting is nearing release, and with little more than a month to go, I have been revisiting The Section. It's been a long time since I played with the pseudo-MMO shot of Ubisoft, and much like when it launched, I mainly like it. But despite its shooting mechanics and gameplay that is satisfying loop that manages to keep me plugged in, it is far from perfect.
There are scores of little issues that frustrate me, and keep me from playing until the ending, despite assertions from friends that it is all better now than at launch. I would like to play The Division 2 with pals, and also have it be a game I can keep returning to, but it takes over problems from the first game then I won't be playing The Division 2 for long.
The Division's environment is a huge sticking point. It's a remarkably realistic replication of New York, and it is magnificent in its attention to detail. It is only a pain to navigate. Road, Each alleyway, and car could be the same as another dozens whom I've passed. In a lot of open-world games you start as a stranger, but familiar locations and landmarks help you build a mental map. Without waypoints at The Division, it might be too easy to get lost because everywhere only looks the same. It's the very same thugs, on the roads, beside the buildings that are same, above and over.
Without the in-game map, it The Division 2 Phoenix Credits could be tough to tell where anything else is, and this is a little miracle since the map is a small mess. It makes it difficult to judge what assignments are where, and there is no clear path of progression as it places higher level assignments suspiciously near lower level side quests.
