Semi Gantry Cranes are one of the most multipurpose type of cranes. Semi Gantry Cranes are also know as Goliath Cranes. This crane is been used mainly for activities such as pre-cast segment yards, construction sites, steel stock yards and some other outdoor applications. Gantry or Goliath Cranes are mainly of four types, Single Girder Goliath Crane, Double Girder Goliath Crane, Double Girder Semi – Goliath Crane, and Single Girder Semi – Goliath Crane.
Sparkline provides hoisting through standard hoists for Single Girder Goliath Cranes, and the configuration of cranes depends on the requirements of the customer. These cranes can also be used for right material handling solutions in case the existing factory structure cannot bear the wheel loads of an overhead crane; the loads need to be handled outside the crane span as in the case of an overhang on either side of the rails or where there is a requirement to relocate the crane.
