The Trinity smok mico kit is the latest open pod system by SMOK, featuring a 1000mAh internal, 2.8ml capacity pods and two Nord Mesh Coils.The Trinity Alpha Kit is the latest in a long line of pod kits from the prolific manufacturers SMOK.
If you’re thinking you’ve seen that design somewhere else before? Then you’d be right.The Trinity Alpha bares a striking resemblance to one of the most popular pod systems on the market, the Lost Vape Orion.
The Trinity Alpha even features a similarly shaped pod which integrates into the body of the device, and a small latch to release the pod. However, SMOK has opted for placing the latch at the top of the device, and the pod is somewhat more angular than that of the Orion.
The Trinity Alpha pod also has a 2.8ml capacity, and importantly uses replaceable coils, the same as the Nord. There are two included in the kit, a 0.6-Ohm (DTL) mesh coil, and a 0.8-ohm (MTL) mesh coil.The Trinity Alpha pods also have a couple of other advantages over that of the Orion, it features a slide-to-fill cap and utilizes a replaceable 510 drip tip.
The Trinity Alpha is powered by an internal 1000mAh battery, which features 1amp charging. It also has 3 different power modes of Soft, Normal, and Hard which range between 15 and 25 Watts.There’s a mode button to switch between each setting, and 3 LED indicator lights to notify which mode it’s on. There’s also another small LED light to show the battery status of the device.
