Smoant has been a little reserved in the pod mod market recently, and now we know the reason – the Smoant vaporesso target mini 2.

It seems they’ve have been patiently waiting for others to make the moves with pod mods, and then try and improve on what’s on offer.

They may have just achieved it, as the Smoant Pasito offers some useful features and importantly is the first rebuildable pod system on the market.There’s also adjustable airflow with what looks like a small sliding switch, to make the most of each of those coils for DTL or MTL vaping.

The Pasito comes with a 3ml capacity pod, which allows the coils to slot into the bottom when attached to a small base plate. The base plate is magnetic and will help connect the pod to the device.

The pods have a replaceable resin drip tip which connects to a knurled base so it can easily be unscrewed to allow for top-filling of the pod.The Pasito is powered by Smoant’s Ant chipset, which offers a constant output and variable wattage. There’s a designated button on the front of the device to adjust the wattage with 5 different settings; 10W/13W/16W/20W/25W.

It also comes with a built-in 1100mAh battery and a type-C USB charge port for fast charging.

Each side of the device has one large and one small panel made from a CPR material, which is colorful, high gloss, durable and fingerprint resistant.

On one of the small panels, there are 5 small LED lights which help indicate the wattage settings and the battery status of the device.
