Shang Chi Marvel movie brings a new Asian superhero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Simu Liu’s character. Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings (2021) showcases the life of Sang Chi, who tries to move on from his past life and the role of an assassin by hiding in San Francisco. However, Sang Chi’s villainous father, Wenwu (Tony Leung), orders his organization, “the Ten Rings,” to attack his son. Further, The Ten Rings is an organization of killers named after Shang Chi’s father, Wenwu’s mighty bracelet-like rings.
