With minor exceptions, the game plays at 60 fps in both docked and undocked modes. The exceptions come in the form of one or two fps drops for brief moments when crashes and goals fill the screen with explosions and flying car parts. Frame pacing also remains mostly constant with only occasional brief hitches. The result is smooth, fluid gameplay in both docked and handheld modes when you’re playing in full-screen.
