If you´re looking for a decent, nice R-type, Katakis inspired shoot ´em up, this is for you!!
. Very solid old-school shmup. Great looking. Challenging but not overly so. Varied environments and enemies that are thoughtfully designed. Enjoying it way more than I thought I would.. Such a cool game! :)

Thanks to the last update I am able to play the game with my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller with which it plays very smoothly and natural. Big thanks to the devs!

Levels are nice to look at and there is something new to discover in every scene. And I really love the soundtrack! If you have a weakness for classic 80s music, you have to get Rigid Force Alpha and its soundtrack. It is totally catchy and joyful to listen to (even when listening to the music again if you have lost a life in between).

Difficulty is quite fair, if you don’t pay attention, you lose. So this is actually like in the retro shmups this one was apparently inspired by.

Rigid Force Alpha is a must have for the collection of everyone who loved playing R-Type, Gradius and even Turrican. There are lots of tiny hints and hommages to a lot of retro games in this one!

I’d say this game is totally worth its price as first you play it and then realize you can even do better and find yourself playing the levels over and over again to improve your highscore and catch more enemies. And then there are also other modes like Arcade Mode which add for sure additional replay value and I am looking forward to unlocking more soon! Great work!!! :). Alright! This is what I want to see. Old school games with current graphics! Shoot em up arcade action in the very same way as R-Type, Gradius, Darius or Soldner X. Fans of these games should love this like I do. Great soundtrack too.. very nice game ^^... kudos to the developers... just hope that the control would more responsive even at the minimum hardware requirements... ^^ good luck. Refunded - Shmups are one of my fave game types but no one seems to understand the importance of non flashy visuals, if i cant see enemy bullets clearly because of oer the top graphic fx its not a proper shmup, i had high hopes due to similarities to rtype in the visuals but find the controls sluggish and game not challenging enough for the genre
