About This Game

RED: Lucid Nightmare is a PC horror game with Oculus VR compatibility. Play as Mercedes, as she tries to piece together a missing persons case and strange, recurring nightmares. Each night you will have to explore and navigate the nightmare realm. Puzzles, new challenges, and dangerous inhabitants of the nightmare realm will try to take you. Along with the nightmare sequence there is a daytime sequence where the player can investigate a missing persons case. Hey this is pretty good! It does still have some kinks like going through objects and I did get stuck at one point, it couldve used a little bit more play testing. But all in all the story and atmosphere seems really good so far. It has good pacing and good visuals. I would love to play in VR but I only have a vive :( Check out gameplay here.

The game does have some gameplay mechanics that are a bit confusing but once I figured them out it was fun. After an hour I tried the game with my Oculus and the optimization was okay. VR really enhanced the creepiness.

Decent indie game with the added bonus of VR. Have only played the game a little but I really like the atmosphere. The opening sequence is unique and the start of the game is eerie and intruiging. The one gripe I have is the difficulty navigating the menu screen. Other than that, the game seems interesting and I hope to play more!. Enjoyed the experience of Red. Played on PC and found the game to be an new and fresh take on the horror genre.. i played a\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665ton of horror VR games going into to this one i was like this will not scare me....I was dead wrong 10\/10 for a great horror VR game !. Decent indie game with the added bonus of VR. A unique experience that makes you question what is real, and what is in the mind.. Just yelled "Oh f*cking sh*t no!" While my husband was on the phone because of this game. Pretty sure it was some vines or a tree that scared me, but I'm not quite sure I shut my computer before I could see.

This was the first scene of the game. I now understand that I'm a complete wimp and I might get in trouble with my husband.
