Red Cantonese Bear Dog- Do They Even Exist?

I have done some research on the origin of dogs. As it turns out dogs are actually an offshoot of bears. That sounds weird to me. My dog is only about 10 pounds and a little over a foot long and may be 10 inches tall something like that standing on all of her feet. So what I've read online is that dogs are an offshoot of bears on one side, and Chihuahua dogs are an offshoot of bears on the other side. Chihuahua and regular dogs are not exactly related, but since they resemble bears in their manners and their sloppy eating, and their ability to eat rotten food just about anything that they can think of, I suppose it's not too far-fetched that they're both related to bears since that's what bears are famous for.

Actually everybody knows that dogs come from wolves and that wolves are very wild and very un-tamed. and of course like the bear, wolves cannot be trusted to do anything in a peaceful manner. Both of them however are very good at surviving, because their survival skills are excellent. I do believe that most of these skills were gotten before the ice age and that both skills were honed very well during ice age. So since dogs are related to wolves and wolves are related to red cantonese bear dog , dogs are related to bears, on one side. On the other side of bears there is the Chihuahua. But just looking at that animal, I cannot see where it was affected by any sort of ice age. It is very skinny and somewhat hairless compared to dogs and bears so maybe it was an offshoot of bears but in a somewhat warmer climate.

My dog is a crossbreed of Yorkie and Bishon. I suppose you could say that she is just a mutt with papers. That particular mixture is not recognized by any kennel Congress although I have noticed that she seems to have the best of both breeds. She is very friendly and easy to get along with and nice-looking, nice temperament and just a nice little dog. I think personally that most of the pure breed dogs have been interbred so much that their strengths are sometimes their weakness. Now on the other hand the Chihuahua does not have some of the characteristics that regular dogs have. I'm not sure if there is a previous breed between the bear and the Chihuahua like the wolves are intermediate step between cantonese bear dog and dogs. On the other hand I do know that Chihuahuas have a bit of a different type of personality than dogs. They seem to be very mean and good as guard dogs. On the other hand, they are just too mean to me to be a good pet, but people sure do like to have them. So they have a different personality than a regular dog has. A Chihuahua does not even look like a dog. They have those bulging eyes and the very nervous behavior. I don't know, my daughter has a Chihuahua and it is different, that's for sure.

So I rest my case the answer is that both breeds dog and Chihuahua come from bears but it was a long time ago and Chihuahua did not endure the ice age in the North like the wolf did and that seems to have tempered the wolf over the Chihuahua. So I supposed the nickname, bear dog, could be used by both but with a completely different meaning to each. I have decided this is what this paper is all about. The difference and similarity at the same time of dogs and Chihuahuas, both being "beardogs". I am going to start calling my dog a nickname "beardog" for this reason.
