what is Lexbase?

Lexbase is Sweden's largest news service with legal information about individuals and companies. Lexbase is a web service that, at one and the same place, provides legal information from all Swedish courts and a number of other authorities. Lexbase makes it possible to find out if a person or company has been subject to legal review.

What is Lexbase medical information?

Lexbase Medical Information is a database of all of Sweden's doctors and dentists - there are both those who have been disciplined and those who have no one. Lexbase Medical Information is a new service in the Swedish market.

What information can I find in Lexbase?

Lexbase legal database is updated with thousands of documents each day. The database contains judgments from Swedish courts in criminal and dispute cases. Criminal judgments will be erased after a period of time (depending on the offense) but not after five years. Criminal proceedings will be erased after five years. Dispute judgments will be eradicated after 20 years.

Due to high workload in certain courts, the database does not contain all the actual judgments back in time. This lag may continue in 2016.
How are the actions in Lexbase handled?

The information that is searchable in Lexbase is retrieved from the Swedish authorities and published as the authorities have established the documents, that is to say. Lexbase has not manipulated or censored the information. The documents contain all the information that the authorities have registered about the person or company and are presented in a clear and easily accessible manner.

Lexbase has certificate of release for database

The release certificate gives the website www.lexbase.se the same basis for freedom of speech as radio, television and newspapers have for their databases. The web service is run and controlled by Lexbase and the responsible publisher is Jonas Häger. The certificate of release means that:
