I am fan of series since CyM 3 - year 2003. I was hoping that these negative comments are exaggerated. But they are not. PCM 2018 is still buggy as games 10 years ago was.. What the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with the developers of this Game ? NOTHING has changed compared to the 2017 Version. So if you already own the 2017 Version don't buy the "New" one. And if you did never have PCM and if you now think of buying it, buy the 2017 Version, becuase it only costs 9€ now. There are enough Patches in the Workshop for getting the new Giro and Tour Routes and also the Jerseys + Transfers. OK, you must admit, that you have to get a Patch to get most of the real names from the riders. But then, it's exactly as the new Version.. Played this for a few hours now and had a blast so far. Totally immersive if you love cycling and some great mods available. It\u2019s the first version of the game I\u2019ve played so can\u2019t really advise either way if you already have 17. But anyone who likes cycling should be getting this. Only slight issue so far is it seems a little easy, especially the levelling up in pro cyclist mode. It\u2019s tough to win races at the start at least and it was a real buzz when I got that first win. Few graphical bugs here and there but no crashes thus far. Strong recommend from me.. I buy this game every other year to get enough new features. But Once more too many crashes. 1st race : crash twice, I simulated the first one thinking maybe a problem with this specific one.

I will not play for a month or 2, to see if we are getting updates.

. Every 5th game crashes, of unknown reason often 3-10 km before finish line. Pretty annoying. Shouldnt be an issue with a 5th year game that has now been released for some while.. can the creaters please help. Every time i finish one season it keeps crashing. I start a new one but the same thing.

This is my first PCM since 2011, but from videos, other reviews and comments it's easy to tell that there are not that many obvious new features in this edition. However, one thing quite a few people mentioned and that is actually noticeable is a significant AI improvement, one of the most important and, historically, most problematic parts of the game. I believe that this alone is worth buying the game if you're enjoying cycling and management games. At least I, in the few races I've played so far (waiting until a few more patches and a complete database before I start a career), had a lot of fun - the game feels challenging, the AI decisions mostly feel realistic, sprints are a lot better than they were years ago, and one thing these games have always done right was catching the atmosphere of an intense cycling race. It's no less in this edition.. Has the game improved since the last one? Yes.
Has the game improved enough for you to spend 40 dollars? No.

The game is pretty similar to the 2017 version and although the improvements to the game are definitely positive, if you have the 2017 version I wouldn't recommend buying this game as it is just an update to the game and not really an entirely new game, espiacally since the GUI are almost identical.

The improvements I see so far in the game are:
-Better AI (In certain situations like sprints.)
-More control over teammates in pro cycling (Purely bought the game for this, probably one of the better improvements.)
-Secondary axis for stats.
-KMs seem longer? (Made a sprinter and when I got to the finish line I started sprinting at 1.2KMs to go and I ran out of red bar, In older PCM versions I usually had some red bar left at the same distance, but Im not 100% sure on it.)
-A little more FPS? (Might just be me, but I had a bit more FPS compared to 2017, just dont count on it.)
-Choose axis when you level up in pro cycling
-See any transfers and budget cuts from other teams
