Dugtrio

Dugtrio can easily wipe one out of three Pokémon. It’s a Ground-type Pokémon, so it’s weak against Water, Grass and Ice-type Pokémon. So you can use these Pokémon to defeat Dugtrio.

Nidoking

Nidoking is Poison/Ground-type Pokémon that’s as powerful as Dugtrio. You can use the same Water and Ice-type Pokémon to win.

Garchomp

Garchomp is a Dragon/Ground-type Pokémon. This Pokémon looks cool and is also quite powerful at the same time. If you use Ice-type Pokémon, you can easily win because it has a double weakness.

Giovanni Suicune Counters

Suicune is a legendary water-type Pokémon that is weak against Grass and Electric-type Pokémon.

So using the right counter Pokémon and attacks, you can give a tough competition to Giovanni. However, you have to use two protected shields with proper strategy. Protected shield plays a major part in a battle. If you use both of your protected shields according to the situation, you can even win any tough match.
