Another aspect to consider is that just purchasing the Premium Rocket Pass doesn't guarantee you'll get all the items from it. The same post suggests that unlocking every Tier in Rocket Pass (read: every customization item) will take 100 hours of gameplay, excluding the Pro Tiers. Of course, these tiers can be unlocked instantly withRocket League Item Keys, but that's another $1 per Tier (assuming a Tier costs one key). Psyonix has also hinted at XP multipliers and bonuses such as Double XP Weekends, which could help you through each of the Tiers faster.
For traders who already spend inordinate amounts of money on keys, the Premium Rocket Pass will definitely be worth pursuing. I imagine that some of the higher-Tier items will sell high prices to other players, especially the painted versions earned through Pro Tiers. On the other hand, more casual players who can't invest $10+ dollars along with 100 hours of gameplay most likely won't pursue the Premium Rocket Pass since it would be a waste if they don't progress through the tiers.
Finally, Rocket Pass is different from other games' weekly challenges since it doesn't require specific actions to earn the rewards. Rocket Pass won't require 100 saves or 15 goals, etc. in order to reach the next Tier. Instead, it ties progression to the end-of-round XP rewarded to players based on their overall performance. While a challenge-based reward system would have been more interesting, it's understandable why Psyonix chose to avoid gameplay-altering challenges.rocket League's December Update is here, which means the game looks better than ever for Xbox One X owners. The update adds 4K and HDR support for Microsoft's latest console behemoth. Along with the Xbox One X support, there are also new tunes to jam to while scoring goals, new community flags and much more www.lolga.com
