If a fire extinguisher is not available, use a large amount of sand, baking soda, or dry cement to suffocate and cool the burning battery. Avoid using water or foam as it may not be effective in stopping the thermal runaway process.

Neglect of injury reflects apathy about what happens to the body or a general lack of caring, whether conscious or unconscious. The sense ofBackhero Posture Corrector Review the body being an important part of us is lost. It becomes simply a mechanism for us to move around in when we need to. When we are injured, we blame the body for failing us. This is extremely dangerous. When we begin to feel as if the body is a burden, something we are stuck with that doesn't work right, we begin to care less and less about it. The body's reaction is to send messages of pain or discomfort that we in turn ignore or block out. However, ignoring the body's messages starts a whole series of problems that can ultimately be disastrous.
Back pain and weak knees are two of the most common examples of the neglect of injury. Tendonitis (for example, tennis elbow), sprained ankles, and dislocated shoulders are other frequently recurring problems aggravated by this kind of neglect. At some point a muscle, tendon, joint, or ligament in the body was injured. It is not the cause of the original injury that is relevant in the neglect of injury, but the subsequent disregard for the body. After any injury the body needs rest and recovery. With more serious injuries a period of rehabilitation is also called for. Too many people ignore the needs of their body as well as the advice of doctors and fail to take sufficient time to recover and to heal themselves, or they give up completely. People stuck in this pattern of neglecting injury, commonly fall into two distinct groups, repeaters and complainers.
The repeaters are the ones who continue the behaviour that led to the injury without allowing adequate time for the injury to heal. When an injury is re-injured during recovery, it is much more difficult for the body to bounce back. With each successive re-injuring of the area, full recovery becomes less and less likely. People with bad backs are often repeaters. They attempt to lift things improperly before they have recovered from their injury. Eventually repeaters are unable to function properly since they have injured themselves beyond the body's ability to repair itself. Their injury hampers their actions and eventually can lead to such conditions as arthritis and severe joint pain since the damage is never cared for. When this occurs repeaters often slip into the next group.
