My story love

As a filmmaker I wanted to make a love story. I wanted the story to be a love story for Dubai, for that place. So the love that will win over the impossible, the love that will be true to Dubai, is love for that place, for that country, for that journey. So the love of the innocent boy for the woman is all about love for Dubai and how to love it.

To me, Dubai is the most beautiful place in the world. I am ready to go to any country on earth and I'll choose Dubai. I will love Dubai more than I can ever love any other place, more than I can ever love another person. There's something about the sun and the sand, about the endless sea, about the smell of the air, about the sand, the sand, the sand, the sand.

So I wanted to represent Dubai as a metaphor for love. A paradise for love.

The film also brings out the myriad differences in gender and class. As one of the women states, Dubai has been more open to sex than any other city.

To me, Dubai is a place of excess, of freedom, of glamour, of excess. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want it, with anyone you want it with. You have the best hotel rooms, and you have the best beaches, and the best time is at night, when you go for a drink at the beach.

These differences bring the romance alive. Because Dubai has always attracted the wealthy. As one of the women says, Dubai has always attracted the powerful.

That's why Dubai will always be different, and will always be the paradise where love finds its way through the impossible, even though Dubai itself may not be paradise at all.
