Mt. Hood National Forest - Camping & Cabins:Campground

Tucker Park offers numerous sites for overnight camping, consisting of websites for small campers (under 30') and single tent websites, as well as a day utilize location with a little picnic shelter. The day-use location is open throughout daylight hours only and all usages within the park are readily available on a FCFS basis.

All campsites at Tucker Park are offered on a FCFS basis between May 1 and October 31. The campground area is closed to the public in between November 1 and April 30 and the day-use location is closed to the public between November 1 and March 31. Outdoor camping is strictly restricted in the day-use location.

Costs enable a maximum site tenancy of 4 (4) individuals per site, leaving out children. Each website is allowed either one (1) tent, one (1) RECREATIONAL VEHICLE, one (1) Sprinter Van, or one (1) lorry with trailer; plus one (1) extra non-sleeping lorry. Some exclusions request group websites; see below for information.

Visitors exceeding any occupancy limits may be required to purchase extra sites as payment options for additional tents or automobiles are not offered. Please be polite in ensuring all camping tents, vehicles and other home fit within the limit of the website. If site boundaries are unclear, please see a Campground Host, a Hood River County staff member or get in touch with the Parks & Structures Department for clarification.

Visitors are accountable for buying an available site at the pay station upon arrival. Please ensure the invoice is shown on the proper website post for the duration of your stay so a Host can verify payment has been made.
