Proteus Industrial offer a wide range of various different distribution boards for different applications with general construction to BSEN 61439 – 1 & 3. For a standard B type TPN distribution board, we have our BX range which is available from 4 to 24 TP ways with various factory fitted incomer options and ratings. If a smaller TPN distribution board is needed, we have the ABX range which is only 269mm high and is available from 2 to 12 TP ways as standard with a factory fitted 100A 4 pole isolator or RCD incomer (horizontal and vertical board layouts available). If more wiring room is required in a TPN distribution board when using larger cables or full module RCBOs, we have the XL range which is 600mm wide and is available from 4 to 24 TP ways with various factory fitted incomer options and ratings. For combining standard MCBs up to 63A and large frame MCBs up to 125A within one TPN distribution board, we have the CBX range which is available with a combination of 2 to 4 large frame outgoing ways and 2 to 12 standard frame outgoing ways (200A or 250A Isolator or MCCB incomer options available). For combining standard MCBs up to 63A and MCCBs up to 160A within one TPN distribution board, we have the MCX range which is available with a combination of 2 to 4 large frame outgoing ways and 2 to 12 standard frame outgoing ways (200A or 250A Isolator or MCCB incomer options available). A distribution board or breaker panel separates incoming mains power into various sub-circuits. Usually, all the fuses, breakers and other circuit protection devices for these secondary circuits will be held within the same single enclosure. However, not all distribution boards are necessarily enclosed; some are only semi-enclosed, while others are kept open.

Most workplaces rely on an electricity distribution board to divide and route a single source of outside power to multiple smaller circuits around the building. In many of these settings, the boards will be enclosed for safety. This enclosure is often referred to as a fuse box.
