About This Game

The "Jail" suddenly appeared a number of years ago, sinking the city deep into the ground. There, this impenetrable living prison 666 metres beneath the surface, held power over eerie creatures called "Marchens." Within the prison was a boy named Jack - living a life of suffering, tortured day in and day out, in a world where all dreams, hopes, peace, and humanity had been lost for as long as the people could remember. Then one day, amidst the darkness that prevailed, a girl who called herself a member of the Blood Team appeared before Jack, holding giant scissors dripping in blood! This marked the beginning of fate - of Jack's and the Blood Maidens' escape from the Jail...

and this is the second game i finish today.. and actually was good too being celeste the first... if you like plataformers buy it... if you dont like them or dont know what it is... play rabi ribi. Now onto this game.. after my bad review of the other dungeon crawler of IF international, i have to say that i like this game.. sadly the difficulty is rare... just too rare. Basicly the game have some parts where you will thing.. ok this is unfair... others where ... this is too easy.. and boring. The good news is that game have 3 difficulties so you adjust your game based in what you find fun.. i play almost all in horror.. still when a boss 1 aoe kill me... i think that is bad desing.. more when rest of place im doing it too fine.

The story is fine and with only 1 ending is good.. sadly that ending could be a paint to get... needing a chapter 3 thing that unless you know what to do.. you will lose a lot of time finding that you made the wrong choice ( and nothing prepare you for know what you have to do) Still if you really like dungeon crawlers you will enjoy do all again.
. This is the first First Person Dungeon Crawler I've ever completed. I've started many in the past, but they've always managed to lose my interest pretty quickly, but not this time.

The first and most obvious appeal here is the artwork. It's phenomenal. The character designs are pretty amazing and there's a bunch of designs per character per job.

Music is "okay". Nothing special, but certainly decent. It's very repetative and you'll hear the same song looping constantly in each individual dungeon. At least each dungeon has its own music loop.

Combat is sorta meh. Unlocking all of classes for each character will give you access to a freaking ton of skills. But in practice, you can win almost every fight using 2 to 3 skills per character. It might be different in the hardest difficulty, but on normal and below I used 2 skills per character basically the entire game. One skill for AoE and on skill for nuking a boss. This got boring after a while and I ended up using the auto battle and turbo mode constantly.

The story was unique. I love the way they worked fairy tale characters into a story without being an obvious rip off. The puns and references were awesome. Jack's gotta climb that beanstalk.

Performance was perfect. Zero frame drops and zero crashes.

tl;dr 7/10 decently good game, great visuals, boring combat, excellent performance. Good dungeon crawler.. It looks nice but thats all.
