There were a total of 12,774 homes for sale and of those 1,727 sold. If no other homes go on the market (which is never the case) there would be around a 7 1/2 months supply. This is not biggest supply we have ever had, but it's getting up there. East vancouver realtor

These number change as you get more specific with the type of home and location. For example in East Vancouver, there are 639 detached houses for sale at the moment. However many of these are being sold as part of an assembly, ie; two or more adjacent houses to be knocked down and built into the multi-family type of housing. So the questions is, are there really that many houses available for someone wanting have as a home?
