But an Automatic Maintenance feature is in-built on Windows 10. But most users don’t know how to use it? Then here are some directions to solve your confusion.

Manage Automatic Maintenance Settings on Windows 10 using Control Panel

If you are struggling to manage automatic maintenance settings on Windows 10 via the control panel, pursue the complete on-screen process given below:

Press the Windows and R buttons altogether over the keyboard to invoke the Run section.
Then input ‘control panel’ into it and select the OK button.
You should choose the ‘Large icons’ into the ‘View by’ category.
Check via the items list and choose Maintenance and Security.
Go to the new screen that launches, select the arrow beside the Maintenance option to extend it.
Beneath the ‘Automatic Maintenance,’ select the URL of ‘Change maintenance settings.’

Disable Automatic Maintenance on Windows 10

Navigate to the Registry Editor main screen and go to this path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft> Windows NT > CurrentVersion > Schedule > Maintenance.
Once you launch the Maintenance button, select the empty area, right-click on it, and move the cursor on ‘New’ and select the ‘DWORD (32-bit) Value.’
Input the ‘MaintenanceDisabled’ into it.
Later, reach the ‘MaintenanceDisabled’ DWORD and twice click on it, then input ‘1 ‘into the section of Value Data.
Now, select the OK button and reboot the system.
