Under the aegis of DARE (Department of Agricultural Research and Education), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating and administering agricultural research and education across the country.
The Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) holds a competitive examination for the recruitment of Technicians under the pay level 3 of the 7th CPC pay matrix of ICAR.
To help you ease your preparation for the ICAR AO 2021 exam, we have come up with an all-inclusive cracker course that will cater to all the components of the exam. We have made sure to cover the study material for your preparation for Tier-1 and Tier-2 (Paper-1, 2, 3 & 4) exams. The first phase of the ICAR Exam for 641 vacancies of Technicians was held on 28th February 2022. The next dates are 2nd March, 4th March, and 5th March 2022. The ICAR Technician CBT (Computer Based Test) shall consist of 100 Objective Type Questions with 4 multiple choice answers out of which you have to choose one correct answer only.
Important: Each question carries one mark and you should keep in mind that there is a negative marking of ¼ marks (0.25 marks) for each wrong answer.
In this article, I have mentioned some last-minute important tips that will help you consolidate your preparation and supplement a positive mindset that will lead to a perfect score.
Quick revision of the notes:
It is time to review all the tips and tricks from each topic again. Thoroughly revise all those short and factual notes you prepared while studying so that you do not have to think too much during the exam.
Attempt Mock Tests:
Attempting ICAR Technician Mock Tests at this time will assist you in making a time management strategy. I suggest to you that you should visit the Testwale website to revise questions through their Sectional Tests, Quizzes and Daily Current Affairs designed by the experts. These quizzes and Sectional Tests cover the entire curriculum. Analyse your mistakes after each mock test and revise those topics again.
Don’t stick to the particular question:
This is very crucial. Don't ponder over a question for the time longer than it is required. If you can't come up with a solution, skip the question and go to the next one.
Stay Focussed:
It is crucial for you all to be focused and positive during the exam. This will assist you to perform well in the exam.
Eat healthily and sleep at least for 7 hours a day before the exam:
You should take proper rest and revise topics on the day before the exam. Remember to take enough sleep and to consume well-balanced food on a regular basis. This will keep your body and mind in good coordination, which inturn will help you perform well on the day of examination.
Do not forget to reach the exam centre on time:
Arrive at the exam centre on time, as indicated on your admit card.
You should take the exam with a positive and calm attitude.
Checklist to keep in mind before you enter the examination centre:
Please ensure that you are carrying your call letter, recent passport size photograph, photo identity proof (original and photocopy) and all other things that are mentioned in your call letter.
