IQOS ILUMA設備全新的加熱方式“智能電感系統”必須搭配專用煙彈“TEREA”，該煙彈跟傳統IQOS設備及常規的加熱不燃（加熱菸）設備都是無法通用的。
那麽，IQOS ILUMA專用彈TEREA怎麽樣呢？
首先，TEREA煙彈從外觀上就有很大的變化，以前的煙彈前端是直接露出煙葉薄片，但現在煙彈前端增加了過濾棉，看上去就像一支過濾嘴。這樣可以防止煙葉薄片殘渣脫落，免去了清潔麻煩。
其次，TEREA煙彈內置金屬導熱體(錫箔片)，通過“智能電感系統”(煙桿所具備的磁力，非接觸加熱)從內部加熱煙葉。
TEREA推出的口味共計十多款，有各種不同的原味、薄荷、果味。
目前國內接觸到的主要有三個版本。
分別是：哈版（哈薩克斯坦生產），韓版（韓國生產），日版（日本生產）。三個國家的TEREA口味上有些許區別，還有個別特有口味。價格也不相同，目前來看哈版最便宜，日版最貴，韓版居中。
