Instagram Reels: Here’s How to Save a Song From Reels

One of the most popular photo-sharing platforms has done a commendable job at introducing new features now and then. Instagram is not favored only because of sharing posts; however, it has got a lot more advanced features, which makes it an ideal social-media network.

A few months back, Instagram announced its new ‘Reels’ feature that enables you to create short and entertaining videos. It allows you to create 15-second videos with audio and additional tools. Once you create these fun videos, you can share them on your feed and reach a wider audience if you have a public account. Not only this, but the Discover section of Instagram comes up with popular clips that are posted by some innovative creators.

The only setback of the Reels feature was not being able to save the audio clip if you come across something that intrigues you. Sometimes, the purpose of saving an audio clip is to find that particular song because you liked it. Else, it can be used for re-creating a reel. Hold your breath because the new feature that enables you to save and share audio has finally arrived and is running.
First of all, the audio option on Reels has rolled out two sections: ‘For You’ and ‘Trending.’ Just as the categories suggest, the songs you’ve most looked up to or the songs that are trending appear in these sections.

Now talking about saving audio from Reels, it is the most crucial part we’ve all been waiting for. All you need to do is find that one Reel for which you want to save the audio. Unfortunately, there is no specific method to find a Reel, but you’ll have to go through the Reels in the Discovery section until or unless you find the audio you need to save. If you find the Reel, click on the audio title at the bottom and you’ll be headed to a new window. The next window will present all the videos that have been created using the same audio.

To save audio, tap on the ‘Bookmark’ icon on the top right corner of the page. You can also share the page with your friends using the ‘Send’ icon. As soon as you tap on the Send icon, a list of friends will appear. Select the friends and directly share the page via DM. To use the audio immediately for creating a new Reel, click on the ‘Use Audio’ button at the bottom of the screen.

After you’ve saved audio using a Reel, the audio will appear in the ‘Saved’ section of the Reels. Alternatively, you can locate all the saved audios in the Bookmark section of your Instagram account. Well, this is it! The best part about creating these videos is engaging more audience as we’re all well aware of the fact that a video intrigues the viewer more than a picture post.
