How exactly to Be Reborn In the Light of Christ

Jesus was a man who reflected the Light of Christ. He reflected our actual being whilst the Christ, and the absolute most a body can ever be, is a reflection of the mind.

Once the mind becomes pure and unified, it recognizes Itself whilst the Mind of Christ. When that Divine Mind is reflected in a body, you have a reflection of this, but a reflection is not actuality. acim Christ is a Light that's ahead of time.

How Can We Be Reborn In the Light of Christ Within?

We've to stop protecting the crumbling ego self-concept, and expose and release the shame that's hidden in the mind. If you have been judged as a failure, it's simple to say, “Well, I failed previously for sure. I was a failure previously, but it isn't me. That's not me. I'm alive. I'm reborn again in Christ. I'm fresh and clean and clear in this moment, and I have nothing to do with the self concept.”

Forgiveness allows us to stop protecting the crumbling image that the ego made from us.

Once we are reborn in the Light of Christ, once we give all our relationships and everything of time and space over to the Holy Spirit for His purpose, everything changes.

David: “This is the way my life has been. My connection with the dream of life has fundamentally shifted because my purpose shifted for me. It's for all us. It can't be simply for that one or that certain, because God doesn't have ‘chosen ones.' ”

Each one is called, and the Course says that few decide to listen. Are you currently planning to be pleased with that metaphor of “few decide to listen”? Who's got to listen? I've got to listen. I've got to follow. I've got to be the one! I've got to be the one which steps up, and says, “I will answer the Call.” Like Neo in The Matrix became The One.

Jesus wants us to overlook the images of the planet and to go for the Light. His goal is always to take us to the vision of Christ, which will be non-perceptual, to be reborn and feel anew, fresh, and alive. He wants us to be that reflection of the Light of Christ that's shining radiantly within!
