There are different ways and ways to get to this beautiful island, you can get there by sea, by air, from Cancun, from Playa del Carmen. The island has its own international airport, it is located two kilometers north of San Miguel.

And of course, if you how to get to Cozumel from Cancun , the best way to do it is through a private transportation service if you travel by land or by air, if money is not a problem for you to rent a private jet.

But enough of words and we are going to know how to get to Cozumel from Cancun

By air:

Airlift. From Cancun. Only a 15 minute flight by Mayair, with 6 daily round flights in comfortable aircrafts with capacity for 36 passengers. This company flies every two odd hours to Cancun and every two even hours to Cozumel. Your itinerary begins at 7:15 a.m. from Cozumel to Cancun and until 9:25 p.m. from Cancun to Cozumel.

By land:

Modern trucks called ADO take you from Playa del Carmen to Cancun and vice versa for an approximate time of 45 minutes. In Playa del Carmen the bus station is located just two blocks from the pier.
In the same way, by car, you can go to Puerto Morelos to board a Ferry to the Island right there and enjoy all its attractions in your own vehicle.

By sea:

Ferries travel the stretch of water between land and island. Departing from Playa del Carmen, visitors arrive in San Miguel in 45 minutes.
Two companies cover this route. On the fastest, air-conditioned waterjets, Mexico I and Mexico II, it takes about 35 minutes. Or you can travel on the smaller open-air boats, the Xel-Ha or the Cozumeleño that will take you in an hour.

By Ferry from Playa del Carmen: A fleet of new fast boats, with regular hours and convenient service, you can be in Cozumel in 30 minutes leaving from the Playa del Carmen pier. The crossings begin at 6:00 am from Cozumel and the last one is at 10:00 from Playa del Carmen.

Tickets can be purchased just before the ship's departure or in advance. The space on the boats is sufficient for passenger demand, so there is no need to worry about space availability. In the same way you can buy a round trip Playa del Carmen-Cozumel-Playa del Carmen
