Find current location on Google Maps
The `Where Am I` app shows your current geograph location, including latitude and longitude, on Google Maps. The geolocation service is available on both desktop computers and mobile phones. The location finder service uses the Google Maps Geolocation API to determine the place.
Once you have a compatible GPS receiver, connect it to a 5V power from the Arduino and a ground pin. Connect the RX and TX pins on the GPS to serial pins on the Arduino. 3. Use the Arduino's serial monitor to make sure the GPS is outputting data.
Whether installed in a phone or to the rear of a vehicle, there are two types of GPS antennas: passive and active. Passive antennas idly receive GPS signals and pass those signals to a GPS navigation device. Active units include a powered amplifier that allows the antenna to pull signals from larger distances.
Telecommunications use
Iridium Communications satellite phones use frequencies between 1616 and 1626.5 MHz to communicate with the satellites. Inmarsat and Ligado Networks (formerly LightSquared) terminals use frequencies between 1525 and 1646.5 MHz. Thuraya satellite phones use frequencies between 1525 and 1661 MHz.
The red dots usually indicate more detail is available. When you select the red dot, it reveals the location that it thinks you were at. There is a chance that it thinks you are staying overnight at that place.

Frequency Plan. GPS satellites transmit on two frequencies-L1 (1575.42 MHz) and L2 (1227.60 MHz). In the future, there will be a third frequency-L5 (1176.45 MHz).
Turn on high accuracy mode
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Settings app .
Tap Location.
At the top, switch location on.
Tap Mode. High accuracy.
GNSS and GPS work together, but the main difference between GPS and GNSS is that GNSS-compatible equipment can use navigational satellites from other networks beyond the GPS system, and more satellites means increased receiver accuracy and reliability.
