With all that in mind, it is welcome news that the upcoming Crypto Gibraltar – set to be held at Ocean Village in the British Overseas Territory from 22nd to 24th September – will represent a scaled-up and upgraded experience compared to even the 2021 event.

The 2021 edition of Crypto Gibraltar was special enough, given its status as the very first crypto event to be held after the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Crypto Gibraltar website, we can expect educational presentations, debates, and insights with contributions from some of the industry’s most respected voices. Alongside this, concerts, parties, and networking sessions will be held to further help attendees make powerful new contacts, in addition to strengthening existing ones.
A report by The Cryptonomisthas suggested that the much-talked-about “Crypto Village” near Gibraltar Airport will incorporate a 700-seat theatre, an exhibition area, an NFT gallery and a networking lounge.
Gibraltar hailed as a “hotbed of cutting-edge innovation”
The aforementioned outlet quoted festival organiser Pete Burgess as saying: “Gibraltar’s foundation as a financial jurisdiction is regulation – often seen as old world – but Gibraltar is also an enabler and hotbed of cutting-edge innovation, particularly in the payments sector… that ‘tension’ is what produces great debates and stage content at the Crypto Gibraltar Festival.”
Burgess added: “The main reason people attend conferences is to connect. Many people go to conferences and never set eyes on a stage. Crypto Gibraltar is primarily a networking event and is structured to facilitate that.
“We have two half-days of serious conference sessions, but we also have a purpose-built networking lounge and we create enough time periods during the day to make productive use of it.”
