About This Game

Punch a robot in the face! It’s 2037. Robots are running wild in San Francisco, and you need to stop them. Fight through multiple rounds against different opponents to save the city. Fist of Physics uses Midas’ cutting edge VR physics engine to let players literally reach out and touch their opponent. No cheesy canned hit reactions and physically inaccurate responses that break immersion; every response and movement looks real and believable.

Choosing from a variety of weapons, the player can use their own body with the Vive controllers to engage in brutal combat. To put it straight: This game needs a lot of work.

Ironically enough, mostly in the physics department. This game is essentially: smack your arms around until you SOMEHOW take their health down. Nothing is real about this game in the slightest, nothing feels real. The weapons do close to nothing in terms of damage, nor does punches. I got past most of the enemies without having any idea which of my punches would actually do damage. It seemed very random; the physics are okay, but still need a lot of work. Most of my attacks seemed to have no affect on any of the opposing bots. The concept is very good, just needs a lot of work in gameplay.. This is a great first take on translating giant robots to VR! The core mechanics are really fun. It's satisfying as hell to bat a big lumbering bad guy around the map. I certainly hope the final release has a lot more content to offer (which seems to be what the devs are doing), but it's a lot of fun as is. Great way to work up a sweat too!. Omg this is Fun!!! I was looking for something a little different and i found it lol. Who knew beating up robots with my bare hands could be so fun. I cant wait to see what they add next....More opponents, different lvls, more weapons hahaha!!! After a couple rounds i unlocked a weapon and it really changed how I went about the match...Tried to see what i could remove from the robot while fighting lol....I removed a head and arms from one guy and couldnt stop laughing while i finished the match. they did a great job with the lvl design i cant wait to see whats next!! Great job guys!!!!. Works with Oculus touch using win 7 compatiblity mode.

Good fun energetic brawler, read the guide though as there's no tutorial yet.. Game mechanics work well, but I'm not sure if its not optimized, when battles start I notice a big frame drop with stuttering... i am running a gtx980ti so it shouldnt have that problem. other than that the mechanics are pretty good... Just needs alot more content than just fighting three robots over and over again.. I really really love this game, but there's just one mech that is simply too hard to fight for me to be able to progress, Wall-4. I think he is poorly designed in the way that it's very hard to figure out how you're supposed to fight him. If you try to teleport behind him, he turns too fast to get even a couple of punches in, and his body moves way too fast for an enemy that should be clunky and heavy with two giant shields. I've tried a lot of things against him, throwing things, low punches, blocking, and after dying to him 5 times I've kinda just given up, which is a damn shame. However i still recommend this game, it's smashingly awesome and if you care to read some guides or just try to figure him out, you won't have a problem. Even without getting further than that i find the game to be incredible, and just what i've been wanting in VR.. I bought this on a whim for my 7 year old to keep him occupied for a few minutes while I was cleaning. He played for almost an hour straight and was completely exhausted by the end; headset was drenched. He is now asleep next to me on the couch!

The game is like VR Rock'em Sock'em Robots! Lots of fun! Worth every penny...
