As ever, EA are looking at improving its on-pitch action in FIFA 20 in a slew of updates with new technology and fan feedback. One of the major changes is improvement to manual defending, better rewarding players for taking on attackers without relying on AI defenders to do the work for you. There will also be less focus on pace, with strong defenders such as Virgil van Dijk able to use their strength more effectively against speedy attackers.futcoin

There will be the usual tweaks all over the pitch too, from improved ‘football intelligence’, goalkeepers tweaked to be less effective in one on one situations and an improvement to timed finishing.

Passing is being adjusted, with simple ground passes becoming more accurate, but long passes and volleyed cross-field balls becoming more difficult and less predictable. There will also be ‘dinked’ passes to chip balls over the outstretched legs of a defender.
