About This Game

Electromaze Defense is a classic tower defense game where you create your own maze. Using waypoints, it allows the player to build a maze with a whole new level of complexity. With a wide variety of maps, towers and upgrades, Electromaze Defense will keep you hooked for hours on end! Can you build the perfect maze?

Waypoint Pathfinding

Enemies have to go through several waypoints on the grid before reaching the end of the maze. Use it at your advantage in order to build a maze that will trap them in for as long as possible!

14 Unique Towers

Each tower is unique with its strengths and weaknesses. Place them carefully to make sure you are using them to their full potential.
Each tower can also be upgraded with one of 4 Utility Upgrades. Use these upgrades wisely and your maze will be even more deadly!

Enemy Abilities

As the waves become harder, enemies will unlock various abilities such as blinking, healing, or even summoning more enemies! Be prepared, for these abilities are designed to mess with your strategy!

Bosses

What good would a tower defense be without bosses? Not only are these enemies tough, but they will make your life even harder by boosting nearby ships!

Random Level Generation

Worth the Price.

The maps mostly consist of grids where the mobs must go thru designated waypoints in order. At the start of each round you get an additional number of blocks to place, and you may freely move blocks previously placed. But once you finalize your maze and stop placing more blocks, your maze is locked.

Pro: Allows flexible mazing.

Con: There is a lack of statistics as to how your individual towers perform and it is not entirely clear from their descriptions how certain aspects of the towers perform.

Conclusion: If you are a TD fan who buys most good TD games, then for the price it is worth picking this one up. And if you especially like mazing, then definitely pick this one up.

Excellent. I've bought nearly every tower defense game on steam, and played them for thousands of hours. This is one of the best. It's a great example of superior game design being more important than graphics. The graphics are simple, yet beautiful. Every aspect of the game is well thought out and balanced, so there are always interesting choices to make when trying to get to the next wave.. I have been a huge fan of Tower Defenses since the days of Warcraft 3. This game is probably the closest game I have seen to Gem TD which is easily my favorite tower defense game . The layouts of the maps change each level and it allows you to switch up the maze. Solid game for the money, if you like tower defenses and liked Warcraft 3 tower defenses, buy this game..
