Easy method of working out with a weightlifting bench

There are different ways that you can exercise using a gym bench. Below we have outlined the best methods for exercising using a gym bench.

 1. The first stage is push-ups and squats. You can start by putting your feet on the supports at either end of the bench and then push your body up until your arms are stretched. Exercise as much as you can before resting.

 2. For squats, place your feet on the supports and squat down as far as possible while maintaining tension in your core and hamstrings. Reverse the movement and return to the starting position. Ensure to keep your back straight during this Exercise.

 3. Gym bench dips are another popular bench exercise method. Start pressing yourself into the weightlifting bench with your palms on either side of the ledge. From here, slowly raise your body until your hands reach shoulder height, then lower back into the position. Remember to do ten reps per side!

 4. If you're new to barbell exercises or weight lifting, start with lighter weights until you get used to the feel of the machine, and build up over time. Ensure you warm up properly before training so that you end up injury-free!
