Drew Brees tells Bobby Hebert Focus is TEAM not CONTRACT

Saints quarterback Drew Brees isEli Rogers Youth Jersey heading into the 2017 season on the final year of his current contract and has said that he does not want to negotiate a deal until AFTER the season. It has caused a bit of a stir amongst the Who Dat Nation. Some fans are thinking if the Black & Gold can’t get over the 7-9 hump for a 4th straight year, Brees might decide to take his talents elsewhere.
“I want the focus to NOT be about my contract," Brees told Bobby Hebert, Deuce McAllister, and Deke Bellavia. "I want the focus to be Greg Lloyd Youth Jersey about this team, this year and create that sense of urgency. For me and for them. I don’t care about anything else right now. As far as I’m concerned I could never play football again after this season. I want this season to be my absolute best, and I want it to be the absolute best for our team. So don’t look into that any further then I am focused on the here and now. And being in the present and focused on this team this year, that’s it.”
