Doug Baldwin said Wednesday he was “not surprised” by the NFL’s new national anthem policy. President Trump supports the policy, of course, but he doesn’t like the addendum that allows players to remain in the locker room during the national anthem this season.

The Alliance of American Football completed its awarding of franchises Thursday by placing a team in San Antonio.

Former San Diego Chargers coach Mike Riley will be the head coach and former Dallas Cowboys fullback Darryl "Moose" Johnston is the general manager.

San Antonio joins Atlanta, Orlando, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Phoenix, Memphis and Birmingham.

The Alliance will kick off its inaugural season the week after the Super Bowl and has a TV contract with CBS.

San Antonio is the eighth and final city for The Alliance's inaugural season, joining Orlando Darren Helm Jersey , Atlanta, Memphis, Salt Lake, Phoenix, San Diego and Birmingham.
