This is the experiment that shows your entire universe exists when you are experienced.

To spell out the double slit experiment, think of a tennis ball shooting machine that shoots out balls that travels across space and hits the net.

Now picture the ball shoot machine being shrunk to how big the quantum level where rather than shooting out tennis balls, it now shoots out extremely tiny particles called electrons. Those electrons traverse vacuum colliding with a lcd screen which marks their positions.

Imagine another smaller screen with single vertical slit at the center that is definitely placed regarding the particle launcher and the wide screen. Several of the electrons will pass over the slit striking the lcd screen behind it and many is going to be blocked.

What we will see on the wide screen is usually a vertical column marking areas where the electrons have hit it.

Next, instead of merely one slit we use double slits. Now the electrons can traverse either some of those slits going to the vast screen behind.

That which you are supposed to see is 2 vertical column marking the area where electrons will hit around the wide screen. Even so the strange and amazing thing is, we don't see that. Instead what we have seen are several vertical columns a smaller distance besides one another appearing around the wide screen.

Create a swimming pool area that has a screen with double slits in the center including a lcd screen on the end. Each time a ball is dropped on the water while watching double slit screen, it leads to a circular wave that ripples outwards in most directions. The wave pass through the double slits and split up into two smaller waves. Because the two waves continue to search, they simultaneously reinforce and wipe out one at certain angles.

What you see to the wide screen are several vertical columns each being a tiny distance besides the other. The columns show the part where waves reinforce the other as you move the spaces show where they cancel each other out.

So fit how come the electron behave similar to a wave if it passes through double slits?

The thought is usually that the electron splits into two when it reaches the 1st screen and travels through both slits simultaneously. It then interferes with itself thereby causing a wave relation to the wide screen. In quantum physics, video clips the principle of nonlocality where something happens to two places at one time. It's not necessarily on a one location in efforts and space however it becomes omnipresent.

So to check if that's the situation, a smallish device was placed as you're watching double slits screen so that we're able to observe what comes about when the electron passes through it.

The effect we got was strange beyond normal explanation. This time what we had within the vast screen were two vertical columns rather than the several ones we got at first.
