this game is nothing out of 10 because the quality of this massstapeese cannot be quantified
by a simple numerical value.

name another game you can do that all while listening to an excellent metaphor of today's political and social climate
in america.. Truly a masterpiece. For me, this is the only game whose storyline can rival books such as 1984 and Brave New World. Sure, there's some bad dialogs and voice acting here and there, but, overall, the writing is very good and mature.

Gameplay-wise, there's a nice balance between FPS, RPG, adventure\/exploring. It's not a fast-paced shooter, but it's not an RPG that throws a wall of text on your screen either. Stealth is a big part of the gameplay, and sometimes it's better to simply avoid enemies; the final missions are action-packed, though.

Some negative reviews emphasize the nostalgia as being the reason why this game well regarded, but I first played it in 2016 and loved it.. If you're here, and reading this, you already know the choice you have to make. Deus Ex is becoming real. Also it's fun.. Interesting game but I have some gripes.

Mainly that the only viable skill appears to be swimming. This makes the game laughably easy as your swimming-only build plows through levels with the force of Neptune strapped to the Saturn V rocket. JC Denton is an aquatic Hercules made of gills, able to hold his breath for hours. He is the perfect organism.

At the end of the first level, Denton swims to Battery Park in mere moments, unassisted by the boat waiting to ferry him there. In Hong Kong, Denton barrels through the city's canal infrastructure for instant transportation to anywhere in the region. Every part of Denton's body is cybernetically engineered for the purpose of catapulting this mono-toned little man through liquid. He has a mechanical dorsal fin attached to his phallus that allows for instant turns and expert maneuvering, even in the thick murky soup that is the Upper New York Bay.

Overall, while it has it's flaws, I would still recommend this gaming experience to most people.. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Story:
-Complex and thoughtful cyberpunk storyline.
-The momentum that the story builds is insane.
-Every bit of dialogue fits so well.
-Satisfying conclusion w\/ multiple endings

Graphics:
-Very dated but has a nostalgic charm to it.

Sound and Music:
-One of the greatest video game soundtracks of all time.
-Sound effects are serviceable.

Optimization:
-After downloading GMDX ran near perfect with only a single crash out of 60+ hours.

Last thoughts:
This game seems to have aged very well. Im a picky gamer and easily bored, and it kept me entertained for hours on end. The developers never hold your hand. They present you with obstacles that you solve in your own creative ways. This creates a gameplay loop thats very satisfying, and as your character becomes more powerful, you just feel like an absolute badass.
THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST GAMES EVER MADE. If youre tired of all these mediocore AAA titles that wanna hold your hand and bore you with a terrible story, buy this game!!!!
