Statistical Decision Making Using Hypothetical Testing

In statistical data analysis, we make decisions that support the hypothesis. There are two hypotheses, as you already know. And that they are the null hypothesis and, therefore, the alternative hypothesis. The hypothesis whose value is zero because of the null hypothesis. And also, the alternative to the null hypothesis is thought because of the alternative hypothesis. Every test within the hypothesis testing gives out the many results between these two hypotheses.

In hypothesis testing, if the importance value of the test is larger than the predetermined significant value, then we accept it because of the null hypothesis. If the considerable value is a smaller amount than the predetermined value than we reject the null hypothesis.

Null Hypothesis: A null hypothesis may be a style of the hypothesis that we use in statistics, which proposes that there's no difference between the new value and predetermined value. The null hypothesis is denoted by; H0: μ1 = μ2, which shows that there's no difference between the two population means.

Alternative hypothesis: rather like its name, this hypothesis is indeed opposite to the null hypothesis. The choice hypothesis shows that the value of the observations is the results of real effects.

Level of significance: It refers to the degree of crucialness to choose whether just to accept or reject the null hypothesis. As you recognize, 100% is rarely possible to simply accept or reject a hypothesis. However, you'll always get 5% of the amount of significance usually.

Type I error: this can be matters where we reject the null hypothesis. However, the hypothesis was correct. We denote type I error by alpha, and this is often wherein the quality curve the critical region is known as alpha.

Type II error: this is often things where we accept the null hypothesis, and it's false. We denote it by Beta. However, in hypothesis testing, the quality curve that shows the acceptance region known as the beta region.
