Danielle + Brice | Humphrey’s Estate Engagement Session

Danielle and Brice met online, which was very unlike either of them. Not expecting to meet their best friend and future spouse on their first date they went to dinner with an open mind. Before they knew it, the restaurant was closing and neither one of them wanted the night to end. So, they ended up heading over to another restaurant down the street in order to keep getting to know each other. Their conversation flowed effortlessly and have literally spent almost every day together since. Orange County wedding photographer

After a couple of years, Brice knew he wanted to propose to Danielle. So, he surprised her with a weekend getaway to Pelican Hill. She was under the assumption that they were just there for his birthday. Before dinner that first night, Brice asked Danielle if they could go take pictures at the beach. When they arrived, Brice got down on one knee and proposed. He was totally telling the truth about taking pictures though because he had hired a professional photographer to capture it all! They celebrated that night with a beautiful dinner. The next day- he yet again- surprised Danielle one more time, by taking her to brunch where both their families were waiting to congratulate them. For their engagement session, we took Danielle and Brice over to The Humphrey’s Estate. Brice wore a black suit and tie while Danielle looked beautiful in her long black dress. Their attire really complimented the estate’s lush gardens and beautiful architecture. About half way through their session, Danielle and Brice changed into a more casual outfit in order to give their session a completely different look. We love our couples being able to have two completely seperate looks during their sessions in order to give them variety and options afterwards. Normally, we would change locations but if you have ever been to The Humphrey’s Estate, you know that the property is enormous and can definitely be used for the entire time.
