Craigslist - To Phone Validate Or Not to Phone Validate

Craigslist is a free group open to just about anyone who seems to be posting an ad. Until recently, it has been one of the simplest grouped sites to post on. Unfortunately, precisely what used to be simple has now become complex in the never-ending struggle against spam. Find out about Free SMS verification code bypass service, click here

We all know that spam has been a nuisance for years. At this point, the spammers are commencing to take over Craigslist. Let me make clear how they did it. Craigslist attempts to stop people from sending junk emails by checking for submissions. They check for abnormal posts from any IP but require users to subscribe with valid email contact information. They've even gone a far as to implement some sort of CAPTCHA system to stop computerized posting, and any user could flag these posts. Nevertheless, that's become obsessive too.

There are quite a few new resources that allow individuals to post repeatedly on Craigslist ads or bulk posts because they call it. There's a device called "Craigslist Auto Poster," and there's also "Easy Ad Poster" or "EAP," and each you have built-in strategies to get past Craigslist's anti-spam mechanism. Most people include a random string associated with text at the end of every message or a random period after the title.

Right now, those aren't the only resources used to spam Craigslist. Software such as Advertisement Bomber or Ad Learn is also used. Service-oriented items such as "It's Your Post," etc. By using these tools, the actual borders of Craigslist happen to be breached. Most categories on Craigslist have become over 95% spam. The personals had been one of the first sections compared to services. More recently, jobs along with community and for sale areas.

Craigslist isn't taking this particular lightly; they've tried several gimmicks, including phone confirmation posting in some categories that need a callback phone number with a password delivered using voice or a good SMS message. And they'll allow one account for each phone number; spammers have responded to this operating premade cell phone verified accounts that would market between three and 7 dollars each. Spammers also have tried using number ease of mobility services such as "Digits Great Central." Most of those are increasingly being blocked by Craigslist.

This kind of complicated scam is junk emailers using free ring shades sites to get unsuspecting sufferers to accept the Craigslist confirmation call and then type the actual password back from the tone of the voice message. That way, a person will get a free ring tone, and the person selling it will get a free phone-verified account.

The forums in Craigslist ads are alight with discussion. Do we verify, or can we not verify? The different ways phone verification can harm the standard poster and how most spammers get past it without having so much as a blink. From my perspective, it seems Craigslist has no idea how to proceed.
