I don't even want to honor this game with a review other than "bad space invaders clone". Beyond that, there is no options button, and my controller could not pause the game. Not sure if escape would have done it, but I don't care to check.

I remember buying a "Black Shell Media" bundle elsewhere a while back. Boy, was that a mistake.. No saves, no list. Bye.. Heavy Weapons 网上找)，游戏性要好得多，能加装激导弹闪电什么的，还有boss战，绝对比这个好玩。. Any game where you can hold down a single key and let RNG decide whether you win or not isn't a very inspiring game. Some good ideas are let down by slow progress, tedious enemies, repetitive levels, and an unrewarding upgrade system.. Very cute High-Octane Remake of Space Invaders, with some fun twists. I liked having the options to upgrade my base ship, although if I had one very minor complaint, it was that the effects of some of the powerupgrades aren't spelled out a bit clearer. After several plays I am still not sure what the powerup for "Rockets" does. I think it makes my main weapon stronger, i.e. takes less hits to destrpy an Alien ship...but...not sure.

Either way, the game is very fun. Can be played in 7-12 minutes so far, although I am hoping with more experience to make a game last a bit longer as I get into higher levels.

Good game. Very bright colors, nice explosions, good sound effects, controls work well. 4 out of 5 Katanas for a retro remake !!!. A bland space invaders clone.
The tilted view makes aiming/dodging less intuitive, however the grid overlay makes timing your shots trivial.
Dive bombers fire at an angle which feels really unfair.
Expensive upgrades with very little cash granted for completing a level means you're dependent on getting lucky with random cash drops which grant ten times as much money as completing a level.
Missile upgrade didn't seem to have any effect.
Unlimited continues without penalties makes score chasing futile.. Any game where you can hold down a single key and let RNG decide whether you win or not isn't a very inspiring game.
