About This Game

Blast robots in cyberspace!

Boki wants to be a hero, but isn't quite there yet. Her uncle Savant built a virtual reality combat program so Boki can practice, and become the superhero she's always wanted to be!

Cool weapons!

Boki can copy powers from enemies, and then combine up to 3 at a time. Each of the 175 combinations have been hand-crafted to be as cool as possible!

Cool environments!

Travel through 13 worlds in story mode, from a cyber-castle to a forest in flames. Levels are short and replayable, with 2 difficulty settings that can drastically affect the enemies and environment.

• Endless Mode with 37 environments, and bosses with randomized attacks

Very fun and well designed game. As it promises, you get access to a ton of weapons and (most) of them can be combined 3-at-a-time into unique special combo weapons. You can even "copy" the ability to spawn minions! You don't have access to all weapons at all times, but that just means you have to use all of them eventually. The weapons are quite varied, each having strengths and weaknesses, and the combinations are quite fun to use.

Level design and enemy design is good. It does a good job of slowly building up the complexity as it introduces new enemies and weapons. Levels are often centered around specific weapons and always feel like they were designed with the available weapons in mind. Boss design is also extremely good, and there are a lot of boss battles to enjoy. The game is also pretty long for an indie title.

There's also a whole second character to play as who controls completely differently, enough to turn the game on its head. Every weapon has a different unique behavior for him, his combos work differently and give you more control over your arsenal (in exchange for often having trouble attacking up close). I actually find him more fun than the main character.

Difficulty is pretty mild in most parts, but there's challenge stars for taking little damage in each level and those DO provide a high challenge. There's also an unlockable hard mode if you beat the game but I haven't seen it yet.. Very fun and well designed game.
