The firing zone of the cement rotary kiln is often in high temperature, which is the harsh working environment in the entire system. It is more severe than the preheating zone and the cooling zone. Therefore, the service life of the cement rotary kiln depends on the refractory material For this reason, this part of the refractory should meet the following standards.
1. Thermal shock stability
When the cement rotary kiln rotates once, the refractory material in the kiln will be exposed to the gas in the kiln once. In other times, the refractory material is covered by the material. The temperature will be subject to periodic thermal shock, which requires the refractory material of the fired zone to have good thermal shock stability.
2, hanging kiln skin
During normal operation of the Quartz Grinding Machine , it is necessary to have a stable kiln skin to protect the lining bricks of the burning zone. The thickness of the kiln skin must not be too thick or too thin. When the kiln skin is too thick, it will affect the normal calcination and affect the output. When the skin is too thin, the melt loss of the refractory is large.
3.Erosion resistance
Cement clinker will form a silicate liquid phase at high temperature and easily penetrate into the refractory bricks, resulting in changes in the chemical composition and mineral composition of the refractory material, or even damage, because the cement clinker has a strong alkalinity. Gases also have a strong chemical attack on refractory materials. Therefore, refractory materials are required to have strong erosion resistance.
In addition, the refractory material of the fired belt also requires low expansion coefficient, good flexibility and other properties. In summary, it is very important to choose the refractory material of the fired belt reasonably.
