The Canadian military paid to send my Vehicles to Germany, and then return it to Canada after my tour there. Yes you can send vehicles to and from Europe, but it isn’t all that inexpensive.

I later drove a vehicles that was made in Belgium and shipped to Canada for sale. (Opel) Most Volkswagon, Audi, Opel, Mercedes-Benz, and Porshe products are produced in Europe and sent to North America for sale (modified for North American service)

Cars you import MUST be modified to meet North American standards before they can be licensed in North America. You simply cannot pick up a car in Europe and plop it on North American streets, there are many requirements for North American vehicles that most European models do not meet.
